EXCURSIONS
A great way to get to know the authentic Mykonian life is to rent a car, bike or ATV and leave no stone unturned at the island’s sleepy villages, quaint churches and impressive historical landmarks. Head to Mykonos Town to explore its numerous museums, the famous windmills, the whitewashed houses and the narrow winding pathways lined with shops and bars. Hike the scenic Ano Mera village to admire its authentic Cycladic architecture that blends perfectly with the surrounding nature, and while at it, learn all about an amazing 16th-century church named Panagia Tourliani.
If you wish to travel deeper, nearby Mykonos lie two small uninhabited islands, Delos and Rhenia, which you may visit via a boat tour that our concierge team can arrange for you. Delos is an open-air archaeological site and according to Greek mythology, it was the birthplace of god Apollo and his twin sister, goddess Artemis. Rhenia is an unspoiled island with a laced coastline sodden by crystalline cerulean waters, and an ideal place for enjoying a great day swimming and snorkeling in privacy.
